What is Rubber Vulcanization and Rubber Rheometer?
Rubber vulcanization is one of the main processes in the processing of rubber products, and it is also the last process in the production of rubber products.

There are 3 stages of vulcanization:

1 Induction. In this stage, the sulfur molecule and the accelerator system react to form an intermediate compound with greater activity.

2 Cross-linking reaction. Further initiating the rubber molecular chain, forming a chain reaction between cross-linkable free radicals (or ions) and the rubber molecular chain, forming a cross-linked chain.

3 Network formation. In this stage, the early cross-linking reaction has tended to be completed, and the resulting cross-linked chains undergo reactions such as rearrangement and cleavage. In the later stage of this stage, the cross-linking reaction has basically stopped. What happens is the cross-linked chain rearrangement and thermal cracking reactions, and finally a vulcanizate with a stable network structure is obtained.

Rubber Rheometer test the curve of the crosslinking speed of the rubber compound at the vulcanization temperature with time, so as to determine the best vulcanization point of the rubber formula and select the reasonable vulcanization conditions.

HUD-R811 Rubber Rheometer complies with the requirements of GB/T16584-1999 and ISO6502-1999. It provides accurate data for the optimal rubber formula combination, and can accurately measure the scorch time, parameters such as positive vulcanization time, vulcanization index and maximum and minimum torque.
